The Legislative Assembly of the Province
The General Synod serves as the principal governing body of the Anglican Province of North America, comprising the House of Bishops and the House of Deputies, exercising its responsibilities in accordance with the Constitution and Canons of the Province.
The General Synod is composed of the House of Bishops and the House of Deputies, deliberating together for the government of the Province under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
